Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Own tools/equipment: Safety vest, gloves
Credentials: Marine Emergency Duties Certificate, commercial Fishing Licence, First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check, drug test

Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work outdoors, in/on water, in dangerous and hot area
- The candidates should be able to work in wet/damp, confined spaces, and cold/refrigerated areas
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be physically demanding
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads and large workloads
- The candidates should be able to stand, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

- The candidates should be able to prepare nets, lines, and other fishing tackle
- The candidates should be able to operate fishing gear to catch fish and other marine life
- The candidates should be able to clean, sort, and pack fish in ice and stow catch in the hold
- The candidates should be able to clean deck surfaces and fish hold
